What happens if we grind rice?

grinding rice makes it too pasty and they don't like the consistency. This what i do for my DS and he loves it. On weekend, i take rice (3/4 white + 1/4 brown). soak brown over night and white for 1 hour, dal (i use moong now) 1/2 cup soak for 1 hours.
